The Department of Chemistry's fall Convocation was held on Friday, August 26, 2011. Department chair William Jenks was the master of ceremonies and Professor Theresa Windus assisted. Both the faculty and graduate students were recognized for the awards they received in 2010-2011. Following the awards, Professor John Verkade presented a talk entitled: "Chemical Utility of Phosphorus and Aluminum in Constrained Environments: Some Recent Advances."
